EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY: A household can get a three day supply of food if they have no food, money or food stamps.
USDA COMMODITY FOODS (SURPLUS): The household must be income eligible, complete an application, and provide documentation.
GLEANING FOOD: Fresh and frozen food from Northern New York truck farms and food donated by local manufacturers is given out on scheduled days at the Neighborhood Center. (Check out our monthly Calendar of Events!)
CRISIS INTERVENTION: Funds are available for emergency shelter, utilities, and food needs.
CARE & SHARE: Financial assistance is available for those facing emergency heating and energy bills.
CORC THRIFT STORE VOUCHERS: Vouchers for free clothing are available.
INFORMATION & REFERRALS: We provide referrals to other agencies throughout St. Lawrence County.
FOOD SENSE PROGRAM: $15.50 pays for one unit of food at the beginning of the month and $25-$30-worth of food at the end of the month. There are no income guidelines, and you may purchase as many units as you'd like. Bonus items are also available. (Click here to learn more about Food Sense!
HUD FUNDED RENTAL SUBSIDY PROGRAM: This office is located in the Center and provides affordable housing to low income families.
"MAKE AND TAKE": A monthly cooking workshop is held at the Baptist Meeting House. Participants "make" a dish and "take" it home with ingredients to prepare it at home.
FAMILY DEVELOPMENT: A home-based program is available for families who would like assistance in setting and reaching educational-, employment-, and family-related goals.
